What began as a mutual love of BBQ, became a vision and then a reality as Jimmy Jo's BBQ.
Jim Johanek is President and General Manager of Jimmy Jo's. He has over twenty-five years experience in the restaurant business with a strong background in operations and management for several major restaurant chains. Jim and his wife Lisa reside in Bourbonnais with their three children; Jennifer, Julia, and Jimmy.
Lloyd Kemble is Vice President and Facilities Manager for Jimmy Jo's. As owner of New Millennium Construction, Lloyd supervised all aspects of Jimmy Jo’s construction. Lloyd's construction company specializes in restoration and remodeling for several large restaurant chains. Lloyd also was the Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene for five years in Wilmington, Illinois. Lloyd and his wife Sheila reside in Wilmington and have two children. Together they are a formidable team focused on bringing the best of BBQ to Bourbonnais, Illinois and invite everyone to try their delicious, authentic “Q” in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
